About Us

As a little girl I grew up with a Sicilian grandmother who always liked to bake. While visiting her I always liked eating many of the sweets she created.

In 2013, through a family tragedy, I received my first KitchenAid and shortly after, I decided to try my hand at baking. I started out with just baking cupcakes. I would carry them to work and let my coworkers try them out. They were a hit and I continued to make them for potlucks and family functions. Eventually people started to ask me if I would sell them and that is how my business was created.

In 2016, nestled among the white sands of St. Croix, USVI, I created a unique dessert catering company by the name of Unique Sweets & Treats. The first major item we offered was our awesome cupcake bouquets which were a hit for Valentine's Day and Mother's Day that year. Since then we have branched out to provide the community with an exclusive selection of desserts and treats uniquely designed for each customer.

My passion for baking is very evident in everything that leaves the shop. The attention to detail along with my endless vision and creativity shows in our uniquely designed desserts. The excitement that show on the faces of the customers when they see their desserts is why I do what I do and look forward to serving St. Croix for many more years.
