Are deposits required?

A: A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. When your deposit is submitted, you are acknowledging that you have read and agree with Unique Sweets & Treats’s policies and procedures.

 

How far in advance should an order be placed?

A: All orders should be placed at least two weeks in advance. Wedding orders should be requested at least 2 months in advance. Wedding orders must be paid in full at least a month prior to wedding date.

 

Are cancellations allowed?

All deposits are non-refundable. You may cancel your order at any time but please note that deposits are non-refundable.

 

Payments

All payments are made via PAYPAL

All invoice balances MUST be paid one week prior or your contact is null and void and your deposit will not be refunded.

All orders $100 or less MUST be paid in full

  

Delivery

Delivery option is available for a fee. The minimum delivery fee is $10.  Unique Sweets & Treats is not responsible for any damages to your order once delivery and setup is complete.You are responsible for securing your desserts on an appropriate surface and ensuring the environment is at a suitable temperature for all desserts. Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table.

 

Pickup Location

Pickup location for all orders are is Golden Rock Shopping Center. If you or your representative chooses to pickup order, customer assumes all liability and responsibility for the condition of the order once it is no longer in possession of Unique Sweets & Treats. Unique Sweets & Treats is not responsible for any damages to your order after pickup.You are responsible for securing your desserts on an appropriate surface and ensuring the environment is at a suitable temperature for all desserts.

 

Delivery is highly suggested for all tiered cakes to ensure safe product delivery.

Rush Orders

 

We do accept rush orders. Please review our rush order policy and fees below:

 

ALL ORDERS RECEIVED WITH LESS THAN A FULL WEEK’S NOTICE WILL BE CHARGED CONVENIENCE FEE BASED ON COMPLEXITY. ALL ORDERS RECEIVED IN LESS THAN 36 HOURS OF ORDER DATE WILL BE CHARGED A RUSH FEE. MINIMUM $40.

 

 

Cake Contract

​

         1.   The date of your final payment is the final date for any changes of size, style or flavors of the cake.  Any changes requested after this                    date  cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges.
  

        2.   We provide custom cakes and desserts that require a great amount of time and preparation.  Each order is priced based on flavor,                        size,  design, fillings, toppers, and complexity.  Prices are unique to each order.    Our prices are final and non-negotiable.

        3.  All invoice balances MUST be paid one week prior or your contact is null and void and your deposit will not be refunded.

 

        4.  All orders $100 or less MUST be paid in full

       

        5.  If your cake requires equipment such as columns, cake plates or a stand, a security deposit must be left with us at the time of final                       payment in  order to ensure safe return of the equipment.  We will return this security deposit when the equipment is returned to us                   in original condition no later than one week past the event date.  The security deposit is forfeit if equipment is not returned by                                   established due date.

       

        6.  Unique Sweets & Treats is not responsible for any damage to the cake after setup is complete.  You are responsible for providing an                    appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake and any other dessert(s).  Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table and                  optimal room temperature of 75 degrees or below.

 

        7.  If flowers are provided by an outside source, we will arrange up to 25 stems free. $1 for each additional stem.  You acknowledge that                    fresh flowers are not a food product, and may contain pesticides, insects, dirt, or other contaminants.

 

        8.  If you or your representative elect to pick up and set up the cake, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the                        cake  once it leaves Unique Sweets & Treats’ possession. 

 

        9.  On occasion, we will photograph our desserts and we reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without                              compensation to you.

 

       10.  Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, gluten, and other allergens. You agree to notify your                         guests of  this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions.

 

       11.  If you submit a picture that you want your cake to be based off of, it is your responsibility to state to us that you want the cake to look                  EXACTLY like the picture. This means, colors, size, and structure will be close as possible. Once you make changes to the photo, it                      will not look like the picture you provided.

 

       12.  Performance of this agreement is contingent upon the ability of Unique Sweets & Treats to complete the agreement and is subject to                  accidents,  Acts of God, and other causes beyond our control.
